For nursing mom – No Slimming Pills!
Nursing mom should eat nutritious food, both for her own and also the baby. Baby will get all necessary nutrients from the breast milk. For nursing mom that wanted to start a lose weight program or diet after pregnancy, it is advisable to start only after the 8 weeks of breastfeeding. Choose healthy meals that are loaded with essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients. During the 8 weeks, do not go onto a strict diet. Eat the right food to control and manage your weight during the first 8 weeks. Then only start a strict diet to lose weight the 8 weeks onwards.

Very fast hungry
After pregnancy, it is very normal to feel hungry during breastfeeding. But remember, you want to be in control of your weight,when you are hungry, always opt for food that contains protein, high in nutritional value. If you feels like eating, always choose healthy food. If you feels like snacking, choose to healthy snacks, not chocolates or potato chips. Whenever you are hungry, just take the right food for your body, especially food that contains protein. Protein can help to manage the hunger. When protein is absorbed, it sends a signal to the brain to decrease your hunger.

Take more protein
After pregnancy and still breastfeeding, if lesser protein intake, this might reduce the milk production for the baby. If taking sufficient protein to your body, it will actually help to increase the milk production. Choose protein that is from plant based and not animal. A lack of protein can cause loss of muscle mass, decreased immunity, as well as weakening of the heart and respiratory system.

Drink sufficient water
Most people does not drink enough water for the day. The minimum water intake is 2L per day. Water means H2O, not soda or coffee. It would be good if can drink up to 3-4L of H2O in a day. Such a breakfast supplies our body with all vital nutrients and energy without increasing blood sugar and insulin levels. It helps to avoid dependence on carbs during the day. In this way, appetite stays under control, cravings for carbs (snacks, soft drinks, cookies) diminish and the body uses its own stored fats to get more energy.
