How Long Does It Take To Lose Weight
This is a favorite question that like to ask by people who are looking to start a lose weight program. Don’t ask “how long does it take to lose weight”, instead ask yourself back “how long does it take for you to gain those excess weight”?
Healthy and average weight loss is 2.2 lbs – 6.6 lbs in a month.Let’s say you need to lose 22 lbs, then you will roughly need 10 months to a year time. However, most people thinks that by losing those excess weight, they can look thinner or slimmer. Well, I would say that this is a wrong perception. For me, appearance speaks louder than words.
Would you want to tell people that you have lost 22 lbs and people around you tells you that, there is not much difference even you have lost the 22 lbs?
Or would you prefer that you have lost 10 lbs and people around you started to comment about you looked slimmer and slender?
The power of shape is very important. This is because when you have not only lose some weight, but also your body started to shape up, this has proven that your weight management program is a success because you are actually losing not only weight but also lose excess fats inside the body. When you measure your weight loss progress, do monitor the fat loss as well to ensure that you are on the right track.
How long does it take to lose weight also depends on your patient, determination and discipline. The key to lose weight successfully is when you have changed your eating lifestyle. When you have changed, losing weight is a whole lot easier. Changing is tough, but the results you will get will pay off your effort!
