I do understand that you have a certain events or functions that you must attend and most important you will look great in the new dress or new outfit. When there is a special events or functions, most people will take this &#8220;reason&#8221; as the biggest push/motivation to help lose weight.</p>
<p>Why not take a silent moment and have do some thinking&#8230;and you must ask yourself these few questions:</p>

<p><strong>Help Me Lose Weight Questions To Ask</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Is this weight loss program that I am going to start is a one-off thingy?</li>
<li>If I can achieve such a results in just 3 months time, will it be healthy for me?</li>
<li>What is my long term plan in maintaining and keeping the kgs that I have lost during the weight loss program?</li>
<li>Am I making decisions based on emotions, looking for short cut or being healthy for long term is my priority?</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Let&#8217;s face the REALITY&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>To be able to lose 25kg within 3 months is not healthy. Healthy average weight loss in a month is 1-3kg. And for realistic weight loss results for 3 months will be around 3-9kg. If you can gradually lose the excess weight from the body in a healthy way, you can be in control of your own weight and health.</p>

<p><em>An example of  unhealthy diet plan that most people don&#8217;t realize</em></p>
<p>I am going to eating so little, not gong to eat rice for the coming 3 months. Yes, it will help me lose weight! Okies, within the 3 months, you could have achieved that, eating little and not eating rice. But then, WHAT&#8217;S NEXT? Are you going to continue to eat less and not going to eat rice just to maintain your weight? Chances most people will forget about that and go back to their usual eating lifestyle, eat what they love. Then, this will affect in the Yo Yo Effects because it is all about a sudden cut of food and calories for the body and a sudden increase of food and calories. If the battery is weak, then, we won&#8217;t be able to perform the functions on the remote control itself.</p>
<p>Same goes to our body too. Each one of us has our own battery indicator, the BMR which is the amount of calories needed by our body to let us have the energy to perform daily activities like walking, doing house chores, working, driving and etc based on the individual person&#8217;s age, muscle mass, physic rating, body fat %, visceral fat and body water %.</p>
<h3>You must be thinking, so where can I know about my BMR, Basal Metabolic Rate?</h3>
<p>Is easy. If you go to gym or any weight loss coach, they will have a weighing scale that measures your body that is able to tell you your BMR.</p>
<h3>What is the use of BMR?</h3>
<p>It is very useful and important. Because when you know the amount of calories needed by your body, let&#8217;s say is 1250 calories. And everyday, your total calories intake is 1800. That means it is excess by 550 calories. What happen to those excess 550 calories inside your body? Assuming you do not work out. And the excess 550 calories is not burnt. It will then stored inside the body and slowly weight gain will happen. But, if you do work out and manage to burn off the 550 calories, then you will be maintaining your body weight.</p>
<p>And if you take lesser than 1250, assuming only1000 calories every day. Reduce by 250 calories every single day. If this can be done consistently for a period of time, that is when weight loss will happen.</p>
<h3>Don&#8217;t Make These Mistake!</h3>
<h4>Mistake #1 :Very Low Calorie Intake Diet</h4>
<p>Let&#8217;s say you know that your BMR is 1150 calories. And you trying to be smart, by starving and skipping meals. And your calories intake is only 150. Guess what will happen? You will be suffering and torturing yourself. Can drastic weight loss happen? Of course it will happen, but it won&#8217;t give you long term results. Simply is because how long can you sustain by having daily diet food intake that is just 150 calories everyday? Believe me, you will collapsed and worst ended up in the hospital.</p>
<p>And worst, once you started to eat back normally, that is when Yo Yo effects will happen to you!</p>
<h4>Mistake #2: Low Calorie Intake + Exercise Like Crazy</h4>
<p>Same goes to the people who thinks that they eat so little and exercise like crazy. It seems healthy way of dieting, in actual fact is NOT! When your body is not getting the sufficient energy required, it will then be in sleeping mode. Just like the remote control, no matter how hard you press the button, when there is battery is weak it will not work at all.</p>

People that is undergo a weight management program in a healthy way through changing of diet, eating the right food, taking good care of personal food intake, they all have 1 thing in common.</p>
<h3>The 1 thing in common is&#8230;</h3>
<p>They have the determination, self discipline and consistency to achieve their weight loss success. Is this habits born with the individual person? No, it not born with it. It&#8217;s self development process that allows someone to achieve that. It required mindset shift and doing something out of their comfort zone.</p>

<h3>What do I mean by mindset shifting?</h3>
<p>They need to open to and follow what the coach ask them to do. They need to learn and understand how to lose weight and they need to throw away the old information and beliefs that they used to understand about how to lose weight that are not giving them results. They are willing to accept the new information that will be able to help them to achieve the weight loss success.</p>
<p>These group of people understand clearly that weight loss success does not comes easy and they are willing to pay the price of it. The price like the time (lose weight is not an overnight thing), learning to be a discipline person, and be consistent during their weight loss journey.</p>
<p>I know very clearly that some people that has 2 or 3 coaches at the same time will usually gets no results. This is because, the 2 or 3 coaches are successful in teaching people how to lose weight, but do not forget that different coach have different ways of teaching. If you are getting advise from so many coaches, the chances of you will be lost in the journey of weight loss and that will lead you to frustration. Just follow one coach and you are on the way to success.</p>
<h3>Getting out of comfort zone</h3>
<p>When someone already have weight issues, this clearly shows that they are too comfortable with where they are. They enjoy eating without watching or considering what will be the effects of putting those junkies or unhealthy food into their body. They enjoy drinking sweet drinks and not plain water. Weight loss success required you to get out of the comfort zone. You can&#8217;t continue to do what you are currently doing and you expect success come just like that.</p>
<h3>Believe it or not, interview people who achieved their weight loss success</h3>
<p>You can interview or get to know people who has successfully lose their weight. Ask them what is the price they pay for the success. They will tell you the same thing, willing to change, self discipline and be patient.</p>
<h3>That is why I am very frank to my clients</h3>
<p>If they are not willing to change, there is no point to start the weight management program with me at all. This is because I know, what will be the end results like. If you really want to be successful with your weight loss journey, you need to be ready to change. And your coach will be there to support and guide you through your journey to weight loss success.</p>
<h3>Commitment To Yourself</h3>
<p>Only start with a weight management program only if you are ready to commit to your weight loss success. Don&#8217;t waste your money, time and effort by just trying. Trying won&#8217;t get you success. Commit you bring you unbelievable results.</p>

See, when a person gets onto a weight management program and they did not follow what is being told, it is really hard to see the results.</p>
<h3>It&#8217;s all Reasons or Excuses Only&#8230;</h3>
<p>If I have identified where the problem is that they are not getting results, I will usually ask them&#8230;&#8221;Why aren&#8217;t you follow the menu I provided to you?&#8221; And their answer for me, I would called it &#8220;Reasons&#8221; or &#8220;Excuses&#8221;.</p>

<h3>I Know What You Have Been Through and I Understand It &#8230;</h3>
<p>I have been through, the feeling of being a fat and unhealthy person. And I know what you need to go through in order for you to see the results. I can be there for you whenever you needed someone to talk to and someone to complaint too about who is sabotaging your weight loss program, and how to go about solving the cravings that you have from time to time. Losing weight can be a success when you don&#8217;t feel you are alone facing the challenges of losing weight.</p>
<h3>What You Really Need To Do To Keep You Moving Forward In Losing Weight?</h3>
<p>For anyone who wants to start a weight management program or decided wanted to lose weight, they really need to have a clarity of what do they want to achieve and what is the main reason for them to lose weight. If they do not have clarity, chances of them giving up half way is very high.</p>
<h3>What Is Clarity?</h3>
<ul>
<li>Able to visualize the new YOU, the new wardrobe</li>
<li>Knowing exactly WHY you want to start a weight management program</li>
<li>What will you do if people around you are trying to sabotage your weight loss plan?</li>
<li>I&#8217;m not following the weight loss plan, am I giving myself reasons or excuses?</li>
<li>What makes me stop moving forward to achieve MY weight loss goals?</li>
</ul>
<p>Try asking yourself 5 Questions about Clarity. If you can answer it then you know what you are doing. If you can&#8217;t answer, I suggest you to find out the clarity first before jumping to start with any kind of weight management program.</p>

Can you afford to eat lesser and lesser for the rest of your lives just to maintain and keeping the weight off? Does she knows that initial stage of eating less to lose weight will work so effectively and that is the reason why she is losing 8kgs just by eating less to lose weight. Eating less to lose weight without eating a healthy diet, is not the right way to lose weight. This is because when a person started eating less and not eating a healthy diet, let&#8217;s say insufficient of protein intake. What the body will do is, it will steal protein from your muscles and organs. Then, when you are losing your weight, it could be losing the muscles mass.</p>
<p><span id="more-884"></span>Eating less to lose weight will work because it is a sudden cut on the amount of calories intake to the body. When a person takes lesser calories than the body needs, automatically the person will experience weight loss. Cutting down calories is the right way to lose weight, but cutting down the nutrients needed by the body is a huge No No.</p>
<h3>What is your body telling you when your body is not getting the nutrients needed?</h3>
<p>When your body is lack of the <a title="Weight Loss And Nutrition" href="http://stellachua.com/weight-loss-nutrition/nutrition-for-weight-loss-cant-be-ignored/" target="_blank">nutrition</a> needed, you will  notice few things like:</p>
<ul>
<li>Dry skin</li>
<li>Easily crack nails</li>
<li>Coarse hair</li>
<li>Easily feeling tired</li>
<li>Looking pale</li>
<li>No energy</li>
</ul>
<h3>When your body is telling you something, this shows your body is telling you about your weight loss plan.</h3>
<p>If your body starts  telling you something that means you are under go an unhealthy way of weight loss. Your body is lacking the nutrients needed. A lot of people are neglecting this and take it easy.  What is the point that you can lose weight, then you don&#8217;t look attractive? Out of the sudden you can lose weight, but you look so unattractive because you are easily feeling tired, looking pale as if a sick person and lack of energy? Is this called the success in losing weight? Do you dare to teach people to lose weight like you do even you have lost a lot of weight using your own weight loss plan which is showing that your body is lacking of the balance nutrition needed by your body?</p>

Right food is the food that your body cells needs. Our body are made of trillions of cells. Cells need food too. Cells need food like vitamin, minerals and sufficient water. <p><span id="more-869"></span>Few weeks back, I met up with one of my old client who has started with her weight loss program. She initially lost few kgs but then she decided to give up even before reaching her healthy weight range. She did not contact with me after a year. One day out of the blue she texted me and she told me that she has gained more than 10kgs. She told me that she really wanted to lose weight this time because she is getting married soon.</p>
<h3>I got a shocked&#8230;</h3>
<p>When I met up with her. Is because I almost cannot recognize her. She really put on a lot of weight. She told me that she is sad because she is now wearing her mom&#8217;s clothings and she couldn&#8217;t fit into her own clothings anymore. She said she missed to go shopping and to wear nice clothes.</p>
<h3>I then asked her&#8230;</h3>
<p>How is your eating lifestyle like for the past one year when you stopped your weight management program? I asked her, did you drink at least 2L of water every day or are you back to your old habits to drink lots of sweet drinks and snacks a lot of junkies? She shyly replied to me that she drinks a lot of sweet drinks, hardly drink plain water and her favorite is junkies.</p>
<h3>I asked her why she gave up to reach her healthy weight range</h3>
<p>She answered me that is because she does not have motivation and does cannot resist all the junkies. Colleagues always invite her for unhealthy breakfast to have frequent tea breaks. I asked her, is your colleagues paying for you? She said no.</p>
<h3>What we can learn from this lady?</h3>
<p>Her future husband is accompanying her to meet up with me. As I have spoken to him before, I can feel that he is very supportive her future wife&#8217;s weight loss action.But, she gave herself a lot of reasons not be healthy. Here is the list of reasons that she gave me:</p>
<ul>
<li>No motivation to lose weight</li>
<li>The junkies is too tempting and nice</li>
<li>A lot of delicious food around her office area</li>
<li>I just don&#8217;t like to drink plain water&#8230;it&#8217;s tasteless</li>
</ul>
<p>She is working with a reputable and big company in Malaysia. Just imagine one day, their organization implemented the same thing like what the Japanese government is doing (like in the video).. do you think by then she can afford to give herself reasons for not losing her weight? Do you think she will still says that junkies are nice and so tempting?</p>
<h3>She will not afford to give herself reasons if such rules is being implemented</h3>
<p>If she wants to keep her job with her company, she got to lose those excess weights and trim down the waist line just to fit the qualification of a fit employee. To be successful in losing weight, you really don&#8217;t need an on going motivation for your weight loss management program. What you need to have in your mindset is &#8220;WHY&#8221; you want to lose weight. When the &#8220;WHY&#8221; is very strong, you will not give yourself the reasons.</p>
<p>Like what is shown in the video. The &#8220;Why&#8221; is I need to lose weight in order for me to keep my job. I will need to eat healthy food, even though is tough, but I need to do it, because I really need a job. Job is so important to a lot of people because people have monthly and fixed commitments like housing loans, car loans, insurance, telephone bills and etc. We need a job to pay for our commitments.</p>
<p>When you are given just 2 options, to lose weight or to lose your job&#8230;which one will the individual person choose? Definitely it will be lose weight. People tends to be able to lose weight more successfully when they have no other options .</p>
<p>Have you ever wondered why air stewardess are not overweight? This is because from time to time, there will be a weighing session for all the air stewardess. If you are overweight, you will need to stop for a moment just to lose their weight in order for them to resume their work. It&#8217;s like a standard for them to have a healthy weight range.</p>
<h3>What is the Motivation For Weight Loss?</h3>
<p>Learn from the Japanese. You need to visualize and imagine that if the same thing happens to our country, there will be a lot of people are going to be out of job due to obesity. Are you going to start to take action and stop giving yourself unnecessary reasons to enjoy food?</p>
<h3>The Best Motivation For Weight Loss</h3>
<p>The best motivation for weight loss is about mindset. You will need to clearly define WHY you want to lose weight and the consequences of not losing those excess weight from your body. If you are not doing anything to lose those fats and weights, can you afford to pay a lot for your future medical expenses?</p>
<p>I find that this video is really useful and we should learn from the Japanese. I do hope that this video will help you in motivating you to lose weight.</p>

<p>Table sugar is just one form of sugar that we get in the diet. Sugars are carbohydrates, and they exist naturally in different forms and in all kinds of foods. The granulated sugar that you might sprinkle on your cereal is called sucrose, which is produced primarily by extracting the sugar from sugar beets or sugar cane, although it is present in lots of other plant foods, too. The primary sugar in fruits is called fructose, and there is a naturally occurring sugar in milk called lactose. When you consume a fruit, a vegetable or a dairy product, you can’t avoid consuming the natural sugar that these foods contain.</p>
<p><span id="more-724"></span></p>
<p><em><strong>All sugars ultimately end up in the bloodstream in the form of glucose</strong></em>, which is the form of sugar that our body prefers to use for energy. While sugars in foods end up as glucose in the bloodstream, so do the end-products of the digestion of all carbohydrate-rich foods like fruits, vegetables and starchy foods.</p>
<p><em><strong>We eat a lot of sugar–even in foods that don’t taste sweet. </strong></em>Aside from the obvious items like sodas, fruit drinks, sweetened cereals and desserts, sugar–in one form or another–finds its way into condiments, soups, breads and even savoury snacks like chips. The primary health hazard of eating too much sugar is tooth decay. The bacteria that live in your mouth can convert sugars into an acid that can destroy tooth enamel. Foods that are sweet and sticky, like fruit snacks or gummy candies are particularly a problem since the sugar stays in contact with the teeth.</p>
<p><strong>How Sugar Impact Your Weight Loss Progress? </strong></p>
<p>Does sugar make you fat? Certainly sugar adds extra calories to the diet, and extra calories mean extra weight. Most studies have focused on soda consumption, and several have concluded that as soda consumption increases, so does the risk of obesity. Part of the problem with beverages is that they don’t fill us up–so we can consume a lot of calories in these sweet liquids and still consume regular solid foods, too, before we feel full.</p>
<p>The other issue is that many foods that are high in added sugars are also high in fats and calories–cakes, pastries, ice cream and candy bars are just some of the sweet foods we eat that are loaded down with fat and calories. Food manufacturers are more than happy to accommodate America’s sweet tooth–sugar is inexpensive and adds a lot of taste to foods. To know how much sugar you are eating, it’s important to understand that many forms of sugar are added to foods. By reading the label, you may not realize how much sugar a food really contains.</p>
<p>Here are some other forms of sugar that you might see on a<a href="http://stellachua.com/weight-loss-diet-tips/reading-food-labels/"> label</a>: sucrose, fructose, glucose, dextrose, lactose, maltose, invert sugar, raw sugar, turbinado sugar, brown sugar, cane sugar, brown rice syrup, fruit juice concentrate, confectioner’s sugar, maltodextrin, corn syrup, highfructose corn syrup, honey, maple syrup and molasses.</p>
<p>One popular breakfast cereal marketed to children has the following ingredients: corn, sugar, corn syrup, modified cornstarch, canola oil and high-fructose corn syrup, followed by some vitamins, minerals, and artificial colors and flavors. This cereal isn’t much more than a bowl of sugar, oil and starch.</p>
<p>When you look at a <a href="http://stellachua.com/weight-loss-diet-tips/reading-food-labels/">food label</a>, the sugar content is listed–in grams per serving–just under the total carbohydrate listing. But this includes all sugars in the food including natural sugars, so it can be deceptive. For instance, a bran cereal with no added sugar but with raisins in it might look as high in sugar as a sugary kid’s cereal. But there is a big difference in the nutritional value of the two foods, since one might contain only the natural sugar from the fruit, while the kid’s cereal will contain all added sugar.</p>
<p>It is very important to know how much sugars that we are actually taking into our body. No doubt that cereals could look healthy, but when looking at label it contains quite high sugar content. If you wanted to manage your weight, the best way is to take lesser drinks like soda water or take lesser sweet food like donuts with toppings and also lesser junkies like chips. The lesser artificial sugars intake you give you long term results in managing your weight and that is how sugar impact on your weight loss progress.</p>
