See, the most painful thing that ever happen to a person is when they have managed to lose their weight successfully and all of a sudden the weight started ballooning. A lot of people know how to lose weight, but they never know how to maintain and keep the weight off. The basic is all about choosing the right method to lose weight. When you have chosen the wrong method it will be very difficult for you to maintain to keep the weight off.
The reason why is because when you are dieting, it is suppose to be a change to a healthier eating habits and lifestyle. But if the method that you use is a sudden shock that is eating very less with very low calories, this will actually slow down the metabolism of the body and ended up losing muscle mass. What happen after that? When you stopped dieting and started to eat back, more calories than before, the rate for weight ballooning is much faster is because the metabolism has slow down and muscle mass is decreasing. When metabolism low and low muscle mass, it can’t help to burn more fat and the excess fats will store inside the body, resulted in Yo Yo Effect.

Lets say, if you have lost 20lbs – 30lbs successfully, friends, colleagues and relatives all surprised and will ask you, how did you managed to lose your weight. If you lose weight using a healthy weight loss method, people around you will notice you looked happy, energetic, better complexion, overall a healthier and a new you. People are curious and they want to find out what you have done, comparing to another person that also lose weight successfully, but looked tired, hagged, no energy, looking pale..no one will be interested in asking about their success because they just look like another sick person that loses weight.

Personally, I hate to set goals for anything. But I think that we can’t avoid that in our lives. Some example: From the perspective of personal finance, bankers/consultants will usually ask what is your goals, how much do you want to save after 5 years, 10 years, 20 years or 30 years? How much can you afford your loan repayment each month, and how much do you want to borrow? From the perspective of business, what is the company’s goal in achieving certain amount of revenue/sales? Married couples, decide how many kids that they want to have within how many years…. There are more examples. But it all voice down to just one little thing, what is the thing they want to achieve at the end of the day.
Let’s move on, what’s the most realistic goals for weight loss.

I don’t fancy home exercises because I just don’t enjoy exercising. I ever thought of joining gym membership, but I have never succeed in doing so. Recommended number of hours of sleep is 6-8 hours per day.
In 365 days, sleeping 8 hours per day, we have actually spent around 2,920 hours of sleeping.
In 10 years time, you have actually slept for 29,200 hours which convert to number of years is 3.3 years! Let’s say we live for 60 years, 175,200 hours of sleep = 20 years! We actually spent 1/3 of our lives by sleeping.
